SCCI JOINS ENGAGEMENT LUNCHEON WITH MITI

The Sarawak Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) participated in an engagement luncheon organised by the Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) for YB Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), on 16 September 2026 at The Sarawak Club.

The luncheon brought together SBF President Dato Jonathan Chai Voon Tok, SBF Council members, representatives of SBF member associations, and officials from MITI, the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

The engagement provided an opportunity for participants to exchange views on key investment, trade and industry matters affecting Sarawak’s business community, while strengthening dialogue between business representatives and government agencies.

SCCI values such engagements as an avenue to raise business concerns, exchange perspectives and support closer collaboration between the private sector and relevant government agencies in advancing Sarawak’s economic growth and development.
