The Sarawak Business Federation (SBF), led by President Dato Jonathan Chai Voon Tok together with Council Members, welcomed courtesy calls from the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) and Ernst & Young (EY) on 24 July 2026 at the SCCI Office.
The first visit was by the MEF delegation led by Chief Executive Dato' Seri Rosman Mohamed. The discussion provided an opportunity for both organisations to exchange updates on current initiatives, deliberate on issues affecting the business community, and explore potential areas of collaboration to strengthen support for employers and businesses in Sarawak.
This was followed by a courtesy call from EY, represented by Associate Partner Mr Teo Khang Min and Manager Ms Kelly Lim. The EY team presented an overview of an upcoming industry study, outlining its objectives, methodology and stakeholder engagement plans. Discussions also centred on SBF's potential role in facilitating introductions to relevant chambers, trade associations and key industry stakeholders to support the study.
The two courtesy calls reflect SBF's continued commitment to fostering strategic partnerships with national organisations and professional institutions, while serving as a platform to advance dialogue on issues that impact Sarawak's business community.
