MOU Signing Between SBF & TalentCorp Malaysia

The Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) and Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 11 February 2026 at the Sheraton Hotel Kuching. The MOU was signed on behalf of SBF by Datuk Sri Abang Haji Abdul Karim bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, President of SBF, and on behalf of TalentCorp by Mr Edward Ling, Group CEO.

The signing of today’s MOU marks a significant milestone in SBF’s collaboration with TalentCorp to bring the Latihan Industri Berstruktur Perusahaan Kecil dan Sederhana (LiKES) Programme to Sarawak and, for the first time, to East Malaysia. This partnership demonstrates our shared commitment to supporting SMEs and developing graduate talent through structured, paid internship placements. Leveraging SBF’s statewide network of 24 association members, the programme will provide graduates with meaningful industry exposure while enabling SMEs to strengthen their talent pipelines and enhance workforce readiness. We are proud to serve as TalentCorp’s strategic local partner in delivering this national initiative to the region.
