SCCI Townhall Sessions across Miri - Bintulu - Sibu

The Sarawak Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) held its Townhall Sessions from 18–21 August 2025 in Miri, Bintulu, and Sibu, under the theme “Your Voice, Our Future.” These sessions provided a platform for members to share their views and raise issues affecting the regional business landscape.

Datuk Philip Ting, the newly appointed SCCI President, shared his vision for the chamber and outlined key priorities moving forward. He invited members to reflect on what they believe the purpose and mission of SCCI should be, emphasizing the importance of member input in shaping the chamber’s direction. He also assured attendees that their suggestions would be brought to upcoming committee meetings, reaffirming SCCI’s commitment to better serve its members.

The sessions included constructive dialogue and exploration of local business opportunities. Members had the chance to network and exchange ideas, contributing to a better understanding of shared challenges and potential areas of collaboration.
