SBF-Netherlands Networking Dinner

On 2 July 2025, the Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kuala Lumpur, at a networking dinner held at The Waterfront Hotel, Kuching.

The delegation was led by His Excellency Jacques (Jaap) Werner, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Malaysia. In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the strong potential for collaboration between the Netherlands and Sarawak across various sectors, with particular reference to airport-related solutions and technologies.

The evening saw around 40 participants, including Dato Sri Abang Hj Abdul Karim bin Tun Datuk Abang Hj Openg, President of the Sarawak Business Federation, as well as a Dutch delegation comprising representatives from the Netherlands Embassy, related organisations from both the Netherlands and this region. It provided a valuable platform for meaningful exchanges, potential collaboration, and future partnerships.
