Courtesy Visit by PwC Malaysia

SCCI President, Dato Sri Abang Haji Abdul Karim bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, accompanied by Mr Albert Tang, and other representatives from member companies welcomed a courtesy visit from Mr Yuien Siang Lee, Director of PwC Malaysia and team on 24 January 2025 at the SCCI Office.

Discussion focused on introducing a PwC study for the Sarawak Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (MEESty) regarding the state’s Net Zero Strategy and Carbon Plan, aimed at engaging industry stakeholders on GHG emissions tracking and the potential impact of a carbon trading system.
