SBF Engagement Session with LHDN Malaysia on E-Invoicing

The Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) held an engagement session on e-Invoicing with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) on 7 November 2024, at Chemsain Building, Kuching. Encik Hamezen bin Bes, Head of Tax Education for LHDNM Sarawak, led the presentation, offering insights into the latest requirements and practices for e-Invoicing.  Datuk Philip Ting, SBF Deputy President, expressed his gratitude to LHDN and Encik Miro anak Taut, Assistant Director at LHDNM Sarawak, for strengthening collaborative efforts to help local businesses adapt to new tax processes.

With over 80 SBF members in attendance, the engagement session provided valuable insights on the upcoming e-Invoicing implementation and its anticipated impact on businesses in Sarawak. Key topics included compliance essentials such as registration, invoicing requirements, and the benefits of e-Invoicing, as well as practical solutions to help businesses navigate common challenges during the transition. This informative session underscored SBF's commitment to supporting its members in adapting to new regulatory frameworks.
