Dato Sri Abang Haji Abdul Karim bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, President of Sarawak Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Sarawak Business Federation (SBF), together with Dato Jonathan Chai, Secretary General of SBF welcomed H.E. Vanu Gopala Menon, High Commission of the Republic of Singapore at Kafaz office today, 5 March 2024.

H.E. Mr Vanu was accompanied by Ms Melissa Lee, Counsellor Economics and Ms Charlene Chan, Political Counsellor. Discussion focused on the proposed consulate office which is pending approval from Putrajaya, and enhancing business engagements and investment opportunities between Sarawak and Singapore, especially in agriculture, logistics, and tourism.
