On 2 December 2024, a team from the Royal Thai Embassy paid a courtesy visit to the SCCI Office. The team was led by Mr Worawan Wanwil, Minister Counsellor (Commercial) & Director of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP).

The Royal Thai Embassy team was warmly welcomed by SBF President, Dato Sri Abg Haji Abdul Karim bin Tun Datuk Abg Haji Openg, joined by other SBF members. 

Discussions centered on introducing DITP Malaysia’s initiatives, exploring avenues for future collaboration, and providing insights into upcoming events in Thailand, with a focus on potential guest engagement opportunities.
