SCCI in International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva Switzerland

SCCI Member, Senator Robert Lau represented Malaysia in a Technical Meeting on Decent Sustainable Work in the Inland Water Ways (IWW) Sector held in Geneva, Switzerland from 20-24 November 2023, organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO). He wrote :

"I was nominated by the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) to attend the technical meeting. There were 8 representatives for the employers. The employees were also represented by 8 representatives from different countries. The government sector has 22 countries represented. 

The meetings over 5 days resulted in conclusions and recommendations. These have been published on ILO website. The link is :
