2. NETWORK OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMUNITIES
SCCI, as part of the wider Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) and the BIMP-EAGA Business Council, creates a large network of business opportunities for SMEs and larger companies.

The SCCI maintains a Directory of members and publishes it on the SCCI Website. Being part of a Chamber of Commerce establishes credibility especially among the regional and international business community.
4. DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION
The SCCI regularly receives information on trainings, seminars, events, and business opportunities that are disseminated to its members.
The SCCI is in a number of government agencies such as the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), the Malaysian Employers’ Federation (MEF), the Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) and Special Task Force to Facilitate Business (SAMUDAH).
These representations enable members’ views to be articulated with a view to improve the public and private delivery system.
